I captured these short videos, while I was out in the barn feeding the goats tonight. This morning our weatherman talked about the possibility of severe weather tonight, and boy he wasn't kidding. Sorry about the quality, I captured it with the video on my digital camera, which is an older camera.
Amazing how hard it poured at times.
At one point the weather report was giving tips on what to do in case of a tornado!
The sound of the thunder was incredible at times.

I hope you have gotten rain by now, or if not, that dry conditions aren't too severe. I always think of people's gardens and crops, when I hear others are experiencing a lack of rain.
ReplyDeleteThe previous two Summers, we got a lot a rain in June and July, fortunately this year has been very different. This video just happened to be one of the storms, we've had.
No rain for over a month now with temps in the high 90's but mostly triple digits. We've had heat index up to 115 for most of the month. So it's probably a good thing we don't have rain with that kind of temp because the humidity would strangle us! Next week's forecast is high 80's, low 90's. Rain in the forecast too so I know relief is coming!
